The Maranta is an unusual plant with striking pink veins running through its leaves. It's a definite must have for any plant lover! Commonly known as the ‘prayer plant’ due to its light-sensitive leaves.
Light - Maranta grow best in bright light, but will tolerate shade. Avoid direct sunlight.
Watering - Keep the soil moist at all times, but do not over-water or allow the plant to sit in soggy conditions. Watering with soft, lukewarm water is recommended. Increased humidity levels are a must so mist frequently. Brown leaf tips are a tell-tale sign that the surrounding air is too dry.
